Job summary

A construction consultancy firm in Singapore is looking for a Project Manager to oversee demolition projects. Responsibilities include ensuring contractor's work quality, reporting to the consultant and HDB, and supervising adherence to project specifications. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the building industry or 3 years in project management. Additional skills in project planning and construction management are a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years in building construction or 3 years in project management.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager and oversee demolition project and contractor.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Duties :

Act as Consultant's project manager and oversee demolition project and contractor.

• Report to consultant and HDB
• Oversee and ensure quality, timeliness and safety of contractor's work.
• Lead Resident Technical Officer in supervision of the project to ensure compliance of drawings / specifications, approved work methods and authorities requirements.
• Based at site near Depot Road
• 5.5 days week
• 15 month contract, client option for extension, commencement around January / Feb 2026

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil / Structural / Building Science / Project Management, Construction Management or other Construction and engineering related degree;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduate working experience in the building construction industry or 3 years of relevant post-graduate project management experience;

Knowledge / certification in the following will be beneficial :

• Microsoft Project
• Construction Safety Course for Project Manager
• Certificate of Competency in Earth Control Measures for Construction Site Personnel
