Job summary

Solidtek M&E Pte Ltd is hiring for a role overseeing HR and purchasing activities in Singapore. You will administer work pass processes, manage payroll, and ensure regulatory compliance under EFMA and Employment Act.

The job includes coordinating supplier procurement, posting ads, screening candidates, and onboarding both site workers and office staff. You will maintain records, liaise with government agencies, and negotiate prices with suppliers to support project needs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in HR and/or Purchasing, preferably in construction
• Knowledge of MOM regulations, WICA, and steel material specs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Administer work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations via MOM Online
• Process monthly payroll including overtime, CPF contributions, and FW Levy
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act and EFMA
• Maintain worker records including training certificates and medical insurance
• Post job ads, screen candidates, and conduct orientations for site workers and staff
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw steel, hardware, welding consumables, and PPE
• Obtain quotes and negotiate prices for cost-effective procurement
• Issue purchase orders and track delivery schedules
• Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor inventory and verify deliveries
• Liaise with MOM, BCA, NEA for licensing and audits
• Manage office supplies and vehicle/machinery insurance
