From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS). GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview
  • Perform hand blending & polishing operations, followed by self-inspection of blended parts to the tolerance and specifications
  • Read and interpret Operation Sheets and perform to the required requirements
  • Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
The Ideal Candidate

Minimum GCE O level with 3 years of relevant experience, capable of performing hand blending and polishing operations, self-inspection, interpreting operation sheets accurately, and conducting scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE O level with 3 years of relevant experience; or
  • Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent; or
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Able to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge in CNC programming
  • Ability to comprehend technical drawings/instructions
  • Ability to use measuring instruments
  • Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
  • A team player
