Fromdefiningpricing & proposition, toshaping global launch plansandoptimizinglifecycle performance, you will overseemultiple aspectsof the category’s commercial journey,to ensure we drive growth.
To achieve this, you will collaborate across Dyson – partnering with Engineering, Finance, Operations,Revenueand Market teams –ensuring the commercial voice is at the heart of our decision-making.As a senior manageryou are expected tobe pro-active andadvocate forthe category within Dyson,identifyingandleveragingmarket insights, competitive analysis, and consumer trends tostimulateinnovation,buildengagement, anddrivegrowth.
Key responsibilities
Development & launchdelivery
- Asa product lead in the BU, you will be a central figure in the delivery of new products.
- Understanding product featuresand customer needsand translating theseinto compelling propositions.
- Buildand collaborate to review insight driven business cases for NPD. Maintain and manage these as projects develop. Doingthis in collaboration with Finance, Business intelligence, Revenue and Key markets.
- Communicate portfolio impact of NPDlaunchesand initiate end of life processes whererequired.
- Develop global launch strategiesfor NPD’s championing flawless global launches.
Commercialexcellence
- Market analysis:Provideactionable insights into market dynamics, competitor activity, and consumer behaviours to inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Ad-hoc projects to drive growth.
Performance management
- Portfolio optimisation:Regularly evaluate the portfolioperformance making suggestions todriveefficiency&growth.
- Contribute to periodic market range planning for the category.
Collaboration and communication
- Cross-functional partnering: Act as interface between Engineering&Operations,Campaigns & Creative and Revenue & Markets, ensuring alignment and efficient delivery of categoryobjectives.
