A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a medical officer to assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care within their cardiology department. Candidates should possess a recognized medical degree and have at least three years of relevant experience. Job description

You will assist in all aspects of cardiac procedures and patient care in the Department of Cardiology. Suitable candidates will be offered employment on a 1-year contract.

Requirements:

  • A recognised basic medical degree
  • Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
  • At least 3 years’ post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field / specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant field / specialty
  • A good command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Documented proof of:

    (i)Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and

    (ii)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.

    Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.
