Job description
What you’ll do:

As a Client Services Analyst Brokerage based in Singapore, you will become an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding support across global financial markets. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve engaging directly with clients from diverse backgrounds—ranging from individual investors to sophisticated institutions—helping them navigate complex trading environments with confidence. You will leverage your expertise in financial products to educate users on advanced trading platforms while resolving queries related to account management or transaction processing. By working closely with cross‑functional teams around the world, you will ensure that every client receives attentive assistance tailored to their unique needs. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also genuine enthusiasm for building lasting relationships through considerate communication. Your contributions will help maintain the organisation’s reputation for excellence while opening doors for your own professional advancement within the global finance sector.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries through multiple channels such as email, ticketing systems, live chat, and phone calls, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and attention to detail.
  • Educate clients on the use of proprietary trading platforms and administrative portals, guiding them towards effective self‑service solutions within a highly automated business model.
  • Support clients throughout the entire trading cycle by providing clear explanations of processes such as funding accounts, transferring positions, managing corporate actions, calculating margins, and reconciling statements.
  • Troubleshoot client issues with empathy and persistence; take ownership of problems by following up diligently and escalating matters when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, IT Support, Cashiering, Clearing Operations, and other service groups worldwide to address complex client needs.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of global market developments and product offerings to provide accurate information and proactive support to clients.
  • Contribute to the development of long‑term client relationships by delivering superior service that fosters trust and satisfaction among retail investors, advisors, broker‑dealers, and institutional partners.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with evolving technologies and regulatory requirements relevant to electronic brokerage services.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of client service operations while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
  • Document all client interactions accurately within internal systems to ensure transparency and facilitate effective follow‑up.
What you bring:

To excel as a Client Services Analyst in this brokerage environment, you will bring proven experience supporting customers within the financial services industry—ideally at an international level—where your knowledge of equities, derivatives and currency products has been honed through hands‑on involvement. Your background equips you with analytical thinking skills essential for navigating complex transactions while your multilingual abilities enable you to connect meaningfully with clients from various regions. You are adept at using digital tools for both communication and problem‑solving purposes; your calm demeanour ensures that even challenging situations are managed thoughtfully. Regulatory awareness is important given the need for compliance across jurisdictions; if not already licensed you are eager to pursue required certifications promptly. Above all else your success stems from your ability to foster positive relationships—both externally with clients seeking guidance on intricate matters and internally as part of an interdependent team striving for shared goals.

  • Demonstrated understanding of equities, options, futures, FX products, and their respective trading mechanisms within global markets.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution coupled with at least two years’ experience at a reputable financial institution; exceptional recent graduates who exhibit strong core competencies may also be considered.
  • Familiarity with electronic trading systems or administrative portals used by brokers or investment firms is preferred.
  • Experience handling client enquiries via digital channels such as email correspondence, live chat platforms or telephone support lines within a financial services context.
  • Capacity to remain composed under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑evolving environment.
  • Eligibility for or possession of relevant regulatory licences (such as CMFAS 1A/2A/CM‑EIP/CM‑SIP) or willingness to obtain these certifications shortly after joining through company‑supported exam preparation.
  • Background in client services roles within middle or back office operations, compliance departments or fund administration functions is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills marked by empathy, patience and sensitivity when addressing diverse customer concerns or collaborating internally across departments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning demonstrated by participation in training programmes or pursuit of additional qualifications relevant to electronic brokerage.
