We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chinese Language Teacher to join our preschool team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Chinese language lessons to young children while nurturing their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct age-appropriate Chinese language lessons in accordance with ECDA and MapleBear curriculum frameworks.
Create a positive, warm, and engaging classroom environment that encourages children’s learning and exploration.
Observe, document, and assess children’s learning progress and development.
Establish effective communication with parents regarding children’s learning, behavior, and progress.
Work collaboratively with teaching team members and Centre Leadership Team.
Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with centre policies and ECDA regulations.
Participate actively in staff training, meetings, events, and professional development activities.
ECDA-certified at L2 (Chinese Language) or higher is mandatory.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification recognised by ECDA.
Good command of spoken and written Mandarin Chinese.
Prior teaching experience in a preschool setting is preferred.
Patient, responsible, and passionate about early childhood education.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Team-oriented with a positive working attitude.
