• Prior preschool/childcare experience is an advantage.
• ECDA recognised certification is a plus, but not mandatory for assistant roles.
• Able to communicate in English; bilingual ability is a bonus.

About the Role

We are looking for a warm, responsible and energetic Closing Assistant Teacher to support our teaching team and ensure a smooth, safe and tidy end-of-day routine for children.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in daily classroom routines and learning activities
• Assist with end-of-day transitions, children’s dismissal and handover to parents/guardians
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and hygiene (toys, materials, learning areas)
• Prepare and tidy learning spaces for the next day
• Assist with children’s care routines (e.g., toileting, snack time, nap routines where applicable)
• Follow centre policies, safety procedures and ECDA guidelines

Requirements

• Genuine love and patience for working with young children
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently during closing hours
• Prior preschool/childcare experience is an advantage
• ECDA recognised certification (e.g., WSQ / ACEY / DECCE) is a plus, but not mandatory for assistant roles
• Able to communicate in English; bilingual ability is a bonus
