As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Asraya, a pre-revenue AI-driven real estate tech startup, you will be a pivotal part of the founding team on an equity-only basis. Your responsibilities will revolve around fundraising, compliance, and financial operations, playing a crucial role in setting up the company's financial groundwork.You will lead the fundraising strategy, covering pre-seed, pre-revenue, and seed stages, which will entail creating pitch decks, engaging with investors, and negotiating term sheets. Building and nurturing relationships with VCs, angel investors, and accelerators will be key, along with collaborating on business model refinement, monetization strategies, and investor relations.Ensuring adherence to legal, tax, and regulatory frameworks will be a core aspect of your role, working closely with legal advisors and external accountants. Developing and overseeing financial models, forecasts, and budgets, as well as managing equity structuring and capital strategy, will be essential for the company's growth and sustainability.Your background as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent, coupled with extensive experience in fundraising or startup finance, ideally in a CFO or Head of Finance capacity, will be instrumental. An existing network of VCs or angel investors, knowledge of startup exits, M&A, or IPOs, and proficiency in financial modeling, compliance, and startup fundraising cycles are prerequisites.
