Job summary

A popular restaurant chain in Singapore is seeking a Chief Cook to plan and prepare daily menus while supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will ensure food quality standards are met and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization according to safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare daily menus in coordination with management.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and cleaners.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to the restaurant’s quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and minimize wastage.

Skills

Proven experience as a Chief Cook, Head Cook, or similar role
Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
