Job Summary

The Centre Lead oversees the day-to-day operations, programmes, and community engagement of a single Active Ageing Centre (AAC). As a community-facing role, the Centre Lead translates centre-level plans into operational execution, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong community participation. They supervise Programme Executives, Senior Officers, and Officers to ensure activities remain relevant and responsive to the needs of seniors.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties
Centre Level Operational Oversight
  • Lead and manage the operations of one centre programmes and care and support functions, and volunteer deployment to ensure a safe and engaging environment for seniors.
  • Monitor & report centre level KPIs to Operation Manager
Programme Planning & Implementation
  • Ensure programme are planned with local relevance, implemented smoothly and evaluated for improvements.
  • Execute project activities at the centre level, ensuring timely delivery and providing feedback on implementation challenges to meet seniors' needs effectively.
Staff Supervision
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the centre team and volunteers. Provide daily supervision and support to ensure team members' well‑being and a supportive team culture.
Ground-Level Engagement
  • Engage directly with seniors, caregivers, and volunteers. Provide ground-level insights of seniors' needs and feedback to the Operation Manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Business/Healthcare/Community Development, or related field.
  • Proficient in programme planning, coordination, and evaluation to ensure relevance and impact.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff and volunteers.
  • Good problem-solving and decision‑making abilities, with sound judgement in managing day‑to‑day operations.
  • Empathetic, community‑oriented, and passionate about improving the well‑being of seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage seniors, caregivers, and community partners effectively.
