A leading culinary firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced culinary leader to develop and refine menus while ensuring food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in a central kitchen or large-scale production setting and a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts. Key responsibilities include overseeing production workflows, training kitchen staff, and innovating recipes based on customer feedback. Job Responsibilities
Develop and refine menus for various outlets, ensuring consistency in taste and cost efficiency.
Design and oversee the entire production workflow, from demand planning to storage management.
Lead team members in cooking processes, ensuring proper techniques and standards are maintained throughout.
Conduct quality control checkpoints during production and before delivery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Innovate new products and enhance existing recipes through R&D initiatives, incorporating customer feedback.
Enforce strict hygiene and food safety protocols, monitoring compliance and conducting audits.
Train and develop kitchen staff while clearly defining roles and responsibilities to foster team growth.
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and ensure efficient stock management practices.
Collaborate effectively with various departments to streamline operations and support new initiatives.
Maintain thorough documentation of recipes, production logs, and quality assurance reports.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
6-8 years of culinary experience, with a focus on leadership roles
Prior experience in a central kitchen or large-scale production setting is preferred
Comprehensive understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP
