Key Responsibilities

Café Operations

• Prepare and serve coffee beverages and light snacks (no cooking, only use of microwave & oven).
• Uphold food hygiene and safety standards; maintain a clean and compliant work area.
• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Manage café inventory and replenish supplies as needed.

Retail & Customer Service

• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for café and merchandise sales.
• Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays.
• Deliver warm, professional customer service; assist with purchases and inquiries.
• Support basic stocktaking and inventory control for merchandise.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Keep the café and retail area clean, tidy, and welcoming.
• Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including dishwashing and surface sanitisation.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista.
• Comfortable handling both café and retail POS operations.
• Friendly, service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.
• Must complete and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course (BFHC) as per SFA regulations.

Please note that this is a 6-months contract role, renewable/ extendable.
