About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cafe Outlet Manager to lead our team at Paris Baguette. This is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall operations, profitability, and customer experience of the outlet. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader who is passionate about people, products, and delivering a world‑class customer service experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Operational Management:
Oversee all day‑to‑day outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a seamless workflow.
Manage and direct all activities for both the front‑of‑house (service) and back‑of‑house (kitchen/baking) to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
Maintain a high level of customer service and quality standards (QSC) at all times, ensuring the brand's image is consistently well‑represented.
Financial & Administrative Management:
Take full ownership of the outlet's performance, striving to meet and exceed monthly sales and business KPIs.
Control all outlet costs, including labor, food, and other operating expenses, to ensure strict adherence to the budget.
Conduct regular inventory checks, manage product ordering, and minimize wastage.
Handle all daily sales transactions, cash floats, and administrative tasks, including preparing daily sales reports.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and develop a team of high‑performing staff who are passionate about customer service.
Create a positive and motivating work environment by taking an active interest in the welfare and development of subordinates.
Plan and manage the daily duty roster to ensure optimal manpower allocation and a fair work‑life balance for the team.
Coach and mentor staff on product knowledge and upselling techniques to enhance sales and customer experience.
Quality and Brand Standards:
Ensure all food hygiene, safety, and operational standards are maintained and adhered to at all times.
Proactively address and resolve customer complaints, using service recovery methods to turn negative experiences into positive ones.
Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance of the outlet, from the product displays to the seating areas.
3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the F&B or retail industry, preferably in a cafe, bakery, or fast‑casual dining environment.
Proven track record of managing a profitable outlet and meeting sales targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
Knowledge of standard F&B operating procedures, food hygiene regulations, and POS systems.
A strong passion for the brand and the products offered by Paris Baguette.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and handle pressure effectively.
