Job summary

An aviation support company based in Singapore is looking for an experienced Cabin Inspector. The role involves inspecting the aircraft cabin before and after maintenance, meeting cabin crew, and reporting any aesthetic defects to the engineering team. Candidates must have a diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience in aviation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. This role requires strong communication skills and may involve overtime duties.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma qualification with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in aviation/aircraft is a MUST.
  • Able to communicate with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the aircraft cabin during pre-departures and after maintenance.
  • Meet and greet cabin crew.
  • Provide feedback on aesthetic defects to the duty-engineer.
  • Track post-inspection rectification work.
  • Perform overtime duty as required.

Job description
Job responsibilities:
  • Inspecting theaircraft cabin duringpre-departures and after the performance of cabin andaircraft cleaning / maintenance programs including but not limited to TLC, PCM, LCM, CDC and/or, VIP, hangar checks or cabin refurbishments.
  • To perform the following:
    • Meet and greet cabin crew.
    • Meet departing crew to highlight specific messages relating to cabin aesthetic.
  • Provide feedbackon aesthetic defects or flaws in theaircraft cabin to the duty-engineer from SIAEC’s cabin maintenance unit (CMU).
  • Provide reports and/or written feedback to the Technical Services Division of Singapore Airlines Ltd (“SIA”) relating to the following matters:
    • Common cabin aesthetic defects
    • Misuse/abuse of cabin products
    • Quality of housekeeping in theaircraft cabin
    • Poor maintenance practices
  • Track post-inspection rectification work and inspect the aesthetic quality or repairs performed, as required
  • Perform overtime duty as required by SIAEC
  • Any other duties as delegated by the Operations Manager in consultation with SIAEC
