This role focuses on securing opportunities in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in relevant fields and 5-8 years of commercial experience, along with a strong local network. Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (M&E) is responsible for expanding the Company’s Mechanical & Electrical business, focusing on securing M&E packages across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
  • Identify and secure M&E opportunities including HVAC, electrical, ELV, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Build strong relationships with main contractors, developers, consultants, and M&E engineers.
  • Actively source tenders and negotiated contracts.
  • Achieve agreed sales and profit targets.
Tendering & Technical Coordination
  • Review M&E tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and QS teams to prepare compliant and competitive bids.
  • Participate in technical clarifications, value engineering, and negotiations.
  • Support contract finalisation and scope alignment.
Market & Strategy
  • Monitor market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity in the M&E sector.
  • Identify opportunities for early-stage involvement and negotiated projects.
  • Provide market intelligence to management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5–8 years of BD or commercial experience in M&E business.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, local codes, and tender processes.
  • Existing network with consultants and main contractors preferred.
