Business Development Director - a strategic leadership role responsible for driving business growth and expansion initiatives within the construction sector across China and key Asian markets. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, market penetration, and relationship management within the construction industry. The primary objective is to develop and execute comprehensive strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities, strengthen market presence, and achieve revenue targets across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic business development plan for the construction sector in China and targeted Asian countries. Align strategies with corporate objectives, market dynamics, and growth opportunities to maximize results.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and assess new markets, segments, and growth opportunities within the construction industry across China and key Asian countries. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to inform market entry strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers in China and across Asia. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Opportunity Pursuit: Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities, including project bids, partnerships, and acquisitions, within the construction sector. Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to the business development team across China and Asian countries. Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through effective pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and conversion strategies. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize results.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, legal, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment of business development activities with company objectives and priorities. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
