Job description
Roles & Responsibilities

The Business Architect Manager / Director is the primary architect of our "Growth-to-Operations" lifecycle. You will design and govern the Target Operating Model (TOM) that enables the business to scale its System Integration (SI) footprint while ensuring every project is a launchpad for high-margin Managed Services (MS). Your mission is to eliminate resource silos and architect a "Liquid Workforce" where technical talent is deployed with maximum precision across both Day 1 (Project) and Day 2 (Operations) workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
1. SI Growth & Commercial Architecture
  • Integrated Offer Design: Architect the "SI-plus-MS" blueprint. Design service modules that enable Sales teams to bundle long-term managed services into initial SI bids, ensuring recurring revenue is embedded in the "Day 1" contract.
  • Scalable Operating Model (TOM): Design the organizational structure required to support rapid SI expansion in Singapore, ensuring the model can handle a 2x increase in project volume without a linear increase in management overhead.
  • Market Alignment: Translate Singapore-specific market demands (e.g., hybrid cloud migrations, cybersecurity resilience) into standardized architectural patterns for repeatable delivery.
2. Resource Deployment & Optimization
  • "Liquid Talent" Framework: Architect a resource deployment engine that allows engineers to move fluidly between high-intensity SI project phases and steady-state Managed Services support based on real-time demand.
  • Predictive Capacity Orchestration: Build the logic for a predictive "Bench Management" system, correlating the SI sales pipeline with existing contract lifecycles to forecast talent deployment and prevent "dead time."
  • Global-Local Delivery Mix: Architect the interaction between Singapore-based "Onshore" specialists and "Offshore/Nearshore" delivery centers to optimize the unit cost of every project and service.
3. Lifecycle Efficiency & Margin Engineering
  • The "Zero-Friction" Handover: Design the architectural gatekeeping process to ensure SI projects are delivered "Operations-Ready," reducing "Hyper-care" costs that erode margins during the transition to MS.
  • Standardization vs. Bespoke Control: Establish the "80/20 Rule" in service design—architecting solutions so 80% of delivery uses standardized building blocks, allowing high-cost local resources to focus on 20% high-value customization.
  • Value Stream Optimization: Map and optimize the end-to-end flow from "Project Kickoff" to "Steady-State Support" to eliminate cost leakages and resource bottlenecks.
Critical Deliverables
Deliverable Purpose

Resource Deployment Matrix

A logic-based framework for assigning talent based on project priority, skill level, and margin impact.

SI-to-MS Lifecycle Map

A visual guide for the seamless transition of a client from "Build" to "Run."
