Job summary

A construction and design firm in Singapore is seeking an architectural draftsman to produce accurate drawings from design concepts. Job description

To produce accurate architectural drawings and documentation by converting design concepts and technical requirements into construction‑ready deliverables, including plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings, to support project execution from design to site implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare, update and revise architectural drawings (design drawings, submission drawings and construction drawings) based on instructions from the Architect/Project Manager.
  2. Produce and compile drawings such as site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, detail drawings, door/window schedules and material/finishes information as required.
  3. Develop and maintain drawings/models using AutoCAD, Revit (or other relevant software) with clear revision control.
  4. Coordinate and integrate drawings from different disciplines (Structural, MEP, Interior, Landscape, etc.), identify clashes/inconsistencies and propose amendments.
  5. Prepare drawing sets and documentation required for authority submissions and project deliverables.
  6. Support site surveys/measurements when required and incorporate field data into as‑built drawings.
  7. Assist the project team with design changes, variation orders (VO), RFIs and drawing clarifications for site issues.
  8. Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and requirements (company drafting standards, project specifications and applicable regulations).
  9. Maintain proper drawing records, file naming conventions, drawing registers and document control for submissions and issuance.
  10. Perform other drafting and project support tasks assigned by the supervisor.
