About the role

Brighton College (Singapore) is seeking an inspirational and strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to join our expanding school community. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and shape the marketing and communications vision of the Senior School as Brighton College (Singapore) evolves from a first‑class Prep School into one of the region’s leading all‑through schools, offering education from Pre‑Nursery to Year 13.

What you will be doing
  • Drive the implementation of the school's marketing strategy and contribute to its development in positioning, growth, and new opportunities.
  • Assist with regular monitoring, tracking, market research and analysis of the marketing mix.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's brand positioning and storytelling to enhance visibility and differentiation in a competitive market.
  • Implement marketing and promotional activity for the school (including events, digital marketing, social media, advertising, PR, etc.).
  • Lead the organisation and promotion of school‑led events such as Playgroups and Open Houses.
  • Manage the organisation of external marketing events such as School Fairs, Exhibitions and events.
  • Write compelling marketing content, accentuating true‑life in the school.
  • Develop and manage the production of key external marketing collaterals including but not limited to school prospectus and direct marketing initiatives.
  • Support academic staff in turning content for school‑teacher‑family communication (e.g. school announcements, presentations, etc.) into a proofread, formatted, “parent‑ready” version.
  • Coordinate the school’s campus and digital signage needs.
  • Manage a strategic calendar of marketing touchpoints, including campaigns and events.
  • Develop and execute the SEO‑driven content plan including content calendar, blog creation, and keyword optimisation.
  • Provide support for the school’s Yearbook and other collaterals including briefing vendors, design critique, staff templates, collation and follow‑up of content, proofing, delivery to a strict timeline, cost control.
  • Assist with the management of marketing and communications spend and ensure activities are planned and executed within agreed budgets.
  • Support proactive engagement between the school, teachers and parents and the effective and efficient implementation of all touchpoints for frequent and on‑going communications.
  • Liaise with parent representatives, cultural groups and academic, leadership and admission teams to facilitate communication between various departments and groups.
  • Inspire, lead, mentor and develop the Marketing & Communications Executive.
  • Undertake any other reasonable management requests in support of the school’s mission, vision, and values.
Who we are looking for
  • Degree level qualification in marketing, communication or related field.
  • A minimum of three years marketing, communication and events experience.
  • Copywriting and / or graphic design experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with software programmes required to manage functions of the role.
  • Awareness of commercial sensitivity and demands for confidentiality.
  • Well‑developed communications, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills including an ability to create and adapt tone of voice relevant to the audience whilst working within an overarching corporate style.
  • Ability to manage CMS platforms and UX/UI of the Enquiry to Classroom customer journey.
  • Adaptable and willing to take on a range of tasks, including occasionally outside scope of work, as directed by the Head of Marketing and Admissions.
  • Act as a key custodian of the Brighton College brand, vision and values in all external and internal communications, and promote this with other stakeholders.
