Job summary

A Singapore-based architecture firm is seeking a BIM Specialist to develop and maintain BIM Design Models according to industry standards. The candidate should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in office, retail, or residential projects, and must communicate effectively in English and Mandarin. Expertise in Autodesk Revit and the Singapore BIM submission process are crucial for successful collaboration within the design team. Competitive remuneration package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Revit/BIM for architectural projects.
• Essential fluency in English/Mandarin for client communication.
• Experience with Singapore BCA BIM e-submission process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM Design Models following standards.
• Coordinate between BIM Modelers/Specialists on projects.
• Ensure quality control of BIM modeling processes.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain BIM Design Models and documentation in accordance with DCA's procedures and standards
• Understand and apply Singapore’s regulatory compliances, submission requirements and ensuring BIM Submission Models and documentation meets these standards.
• Create BIM library for projects
• Preparations of BIM models with information required by authorities
• Oversee BIM project and coordinate between BIM Modelers/Specialists
• Ensure Modeling Quality Control
• Communication with project team to translate design in 3D models
• Feedback to designers about clashes and other design issues
• Keep and update drawing revisions and drawing registers

Qualities and Skills Required

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Revit/BIM for architectural projects with office/retail/residential/mixed development experience
• English/Mandarin, spoken and written is essential to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Parametric design tools is an advantage
• Well-versed in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission and Corenet-X’s RABW process, Authorities' requirements, codes and guidelines
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection (AECC) software including Autodesk Revit
• Completed Corenet-X’s IFC-SG Projects, BCA Academy’s BIM Modeling and BIM Management would be an added advantage
