Job description

We are looking for experienced coffee shop staff to prepare coffee, tea and toast, serve customers, and support daily coffeeshop operations. Candidates must be familiar with a fast-paced coffeeshop or café environment and able to work independently.

Working Hours (2 Shifts)

• Morning Shift: 6:00am – 3:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Shift rotation or fixed shift, depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages
• Prepare toast, simple breakfast items and light food
• Operate coffee machines and basic kitchen equipment
• Take orders, handle cashier duties and payment
• Maintain cleanliness of stall, equipment and work area
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Basic stock checking and replenishment
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a coffeeshop, café, kopitiam or similar F&B setting
• Able to prepare traditional coffee/tea or basic espresso-based drinks
• Experience with toast preparation is an advantage
• Comfortable standing for long hours and working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking
• Basic communication skills (English / Mandarin / simple dialects preferred)
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain)
