Job summary

A prestigious culinary institution in Singapore seeks a baking and pastry faculty member responsible for teaching students and preparing lesson plans. Candidates must have 8-10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts or related field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Qualifications

  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years of applicable experience in baking and pastry, culinary or hospitality.
  • Professional international work experience, specifically in Asia is preferred.
  • Previous instructional experience with academic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach classes in baking and pastry and prepare lesson plans.
  • Provide individual help to students who need extra assistance.
  • Evaluate and document student performance objectively.
  • Adapt curriculum to maintain course objectives and standards.
  • Prepare and revise course materials and guides.
  • Supervise student food preparation and service.
  • Enforce sanitation principles and academic policies.
