Job summary

  • Constantly curate recipes to renew menu in accordance to company value and attract more customers (e.g. gluten‑free or vegan desserts)
  • Follow existing recipes measure, weigh and prepare ingredients
  • Bake different bread types, like sourdough, gluten free bread
  • Mix various ingredients to create jams and fillings
  • Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machine and other baking equipment
  • Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards
  • Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use
Education & Certification
  • Certification from a culinary school is a plus
Requires Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
  • Experience with gluten free, refined sugar free and vegan baking a plus
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
  • Excellent time‑management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team spirit, with a customer‑focused attitude
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety precautions and regulations
  • Ability to converse in English (written and spoken) is required
Salary Range

Salary range from SGD$2000-$3500
