The Core Service Team is responsible for TikTok’s core backend infrastructure, including content metadata, data distribution, and user interaction systems. The team handles global high-concurrency environments and solves technical challenges involving multi-datacenter deployments and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in backend development
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python with strong coding standards
• Experience with distributed systems and technologies such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues (MQ)
• Understanding of distributed architecture principles: service-oriented design, asynchronous communication, high availability, and scalability
