A consulting and trading firm in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales in the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. The successful candidate will leverage 5+ years of experience to develop new business, manage customer relationships, and ensure satisfaction. Job Description:
- Develop new business. More on hunting job finding new products and customers.
- Support both customers and suppliers on evaluation of products providing customer’s feedback with data to the supplier for further suggestions, trouble-shooting or introduce alternative grade based on the feedback.
- Regularly contact any potential customers even though there is no progress.
- Prepare and regularly review quotations issued to customers.
- Follow up with customers on payment issues (if any) or any customer feedback.
- Inventory control.
- Source suitable suppliers from various countries (using company subsidiary network or own mean) not limited to Japan HQ.
- Take proactive actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Submit weekly report on sales activities to Assistant Sales Manager and keep updating for the progress in each week.
- Submit data for budget meeting. (budget meeting in June and December)
- Any other ad hoc suitable duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant B2B sales experience, targeting food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
- Experienced working in small or medium sized trading firms is preferred.
- Experienced dealing with end-users (manufacturers) and/or suppliers directly.
- Highly motivated and proactive approach to potential customers.
- Establish good relationship with customers and suppliers
- Ability to work work independently.
- Able to travel overseas.
- Possess own car is an added advantage.
Compensation:
- Working location: Central, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
- AWS (1.5 months)
- Car allowance $850 (if own a car)
- Office parking fees and any parking fees related for business visitation purpose is claimable
- Transport allowance $100 (for those who do not own a car)
- Medical claim $4,000 annually including $200 for dental claim annually
- Annual leave start with 14 days, additional 1 day every year (maximum 24 days)
