Job description

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the successful execution andtechnical delivery of projects that meet scope, timeline and budget, incompliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the data, design and solution discussions withvendor, technology team and user groups.
• Lead multi-vendor teams to successfully deliversolutions, manage multi-vendor teams to work amicably to support thebank’s commitments
• Provide status update related to technical delivery toProject Manager
• Partner with Solution and Enterprise Architects todeliver technical innovations in support of emerging business needs and toprogress these ideas from concepts to working solutions
• Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensuresolution design complies with enterprise design principles, security andcontrol standards
• Work with Test manager to formulate comprehensivesystem test plan aligned with project scope/Change request, qualityrequirements and targets
• Identify and raise risks and issues affecting theproject, including financial or operation and proactively managing them,with timely escalation to relevant parties where necessary.
• Manage relationships across all business lines and withexternal parties, including escalation, expectation, conflict and scopechanges to ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.
• Organise and chair governance meetings, includingpreparation of meeting materials and minutes.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Engineering orother relevant disciplines; PMP certified preferred
• Technical Manager with more than 8 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services industry
• Good and proven fundamental knowledge of regionalproject implementation for large-scale, multi-interfaces applications
• Experience in delivering projects in full SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle / Agile methodologies
• A strong and assertive communicator in speaking andwriting
• Have good organizational skills and stakeholdermanagement skills, with experience at coordinating multiple stakeholders in a diverse organization
• Be a self-starter, and able to work independently
• Able to work within ambiguity
• Have strong execution ability and able to see end-to-end closure of issues
• Demonstrate good initiative in issue resolution
