Job summary

Job description

You will be part of MPA's Strategy & Policy function which helps to drive MPA's medium to long term direction to achieve Maritime Singapore's vision as the world's leading maritime hub. As a member of the Hub Strategy team, you will be responsible for identifying and analysing strategic issues in the global and industry landscapes, and facilitating management decision-making by providing qualitative and quantitative research findings.

In this role with Hub Strategy Department, the job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Conduct regular research and monitoring of both global driving forces and maritime developments.
  • Identify current and emerging trends that may impact Maritime Singapore.
  • Analyse and forecast trends to provide meaningful insights, stimulate different perspectives/scenarios, and assess the implications on Maritime Singapore.
  • Generate ideas and propose recommendations to strengthen Singapore's status as a leading maritime hub.
  • In addition, you may have the opportunity to collaborate with other stakeholders and develop strategies to shape Maritime Singapore's future.
What we are looking for

  • Meticulous and work well under pressure.
