What the role is:

The Government Procurement Function Office leads procurement transformation across the Singapore Public Service. We develop policies, drive technological innovation, foster Whole-of-Government resource optimisation, and build workforce capabilities to enable effective government procurement while maintaining strong governance. We are looking for a proactive and passionate candidate to support the implementation of the Procurement Development Programme (P3) – GPFO’s flagship initiative to build a strong pipeline of procurement talents for the Public Service.

What you will be working on:

  • Programme Support & Coordination: Support the planning and execution of P3 activities, including coordinating structured rotations, technical training sessions, project work, and mentorship arrangements. Assist in maintaining programme frameworks and documentation to ensure alignment with workforce development goals. Help implement feedback collection processes and support evaluation activities to monitor programme effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Support & Communication: Support relationship building with public sector agencies by assisting in the coordination of placement opportunities. Provide administrative and logistical support to agencies and participants during onboarding, rotation transitions, and role transitions. Coordinate with subject matter experts and training providers to facilitate learning experiences and manage scheduling.
  • Recruitment & Outreach Support: Support the implementation of recruitment strategies by assisting with outreach activities to universities and professional networks. Help organise and participate in career fairs, campus engagements, and information sessions. Assist with recruitment processes, including candidate screening, assessment coordination, interview scheduling, and administrative support for selection processes. Support the development of outreach materials and help maintain P3's employer brand presence.
  • Participant Development Support: Work with hosting agencies to support participant performance tracking and development activities. Assist in identifying learning needs and support the coordination of development interventions such as workshops and mentoring sessions. Help track participant progress and support the refinement of development approaches.
  • Administrative Operations: Manage day-to-day programme administration, including onboarding logistics, attendance tracking, leave coordination, and benefits administration. Handle routine HR-related administrative tasks and maintain accurate personnel records. Support initiatives to enhance participant engagement and contribute to improving the overall programme experience.
