Job description
Your responsibilities include:
  • Develop concept design into schematic designs
  • Design development that would include detailed drawings and specifications for contractors to follow for construction purposes
  • Lead tendering and bidding processes
  • Lead site inspection and authority clearances
  • Oversee design development and project management from start to handover, including compliance with local codes/ regulations, tender preparation and contract administration
  • Manage client/ consultant stakeholders, conduct project & site meetings to drive project progress and resolve issues
  • Assist the Team Leader with job bids and client relationship management
What you will need:
  • Driven individuals who can mentor younger team members
  • A recognised university degree in Architecture and registered with the Board of Architects as a Qualified Person
  • Minimum 10 years or more relevant postgraduate experience in architectural design development, design documentation and project administration of various project size & typology.
  • A good track record in schematic design, design development and tender documentation
  • Good knowledge of local building codes & regulations, compliance and authority requirements
  • Ability to work in a group setting and /or independently and multi-task under challenging deadlines
  • Strong team-working, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to build good working relationships with client and other stakeholders
