Our products are used to provide high performance magnetics for automotive, media storage, appliance industries and various other industries. Recently MQ is expanding its product portfolio to include NdFeB sintered magnets. Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Perform experimental work in synthesizing and characterizing NdFeB sintered magnets for R&D projects.
  • Perform product test, validation and analysis services for sintered magnet mass production.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to our manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia.
  • Record and document all experimental formulations, procedures, and test results for preparing research reports, patent applications, customer supports, or other activities required by the company.
  • Demonstrate competence in the use of all relevant test, analytical and processing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe workplace.
  • Conduct other work as required in Materials and Magnetics Laboratories.
Requirements
  • BS or MS degree in Materials Science and Engineering or Physics, with course work or thesis in permanent magnetic materials (preferred in NdFeB sintered magnets).
  • 0-5 years of work experience, preferably in magnetic materials related fields.
  • Ability to analyze and work through technical and/or scientific problems.
  • Hands‑on person, like working in a lab setting.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (in English).
  • Highly motivated, team player.
