We are seeking Functional Business Analysts to support a regional Sanctions List Management initiative, focused on Transaction screening systems. The FBA will work jointly with compliance SMEs, Architects, and Technology teams to assess current processes, gather multi-country requirements, and support the definition of the future operating, architectural, and governance model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead detailed functional assessments of sanctions list management processes, including sourcing, consolidation, validation, and distribution of lists.
  • Gather, document, and validate functional requirements for list automation, ensuring end-to-end traceability, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance.
  • Map country-specific workflows, integration touchpoints, file formats, and transformation rules for multiple transaction screening systems.
  • Support as-is and to-be process modeling, highlighting operational inefficiencies, risk points, and automation opportunities.
  • Document integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, APIs, batch, event-driven) and error-handling protocols.
  • Collaborate with architects, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with regional and local requirements.
  • Support risk assessment, assumptions, dependencies, and issue logs, ensuring all findings are traceable and auditable.
  • Contribute to the development of deliverables, including functional specifications, governance frameworks, implementation roadmaps, and cost/resource estimates.
  • Participate in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-entities harmonization sessions, ensuring coverage of all entities in-scope.
