The External Managers Department seeks to identify and develop relationships with the best breed of global investment managers to benefit GIC at large, and at the same time capturing investment opportunities to outperform our benchmarks. We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our team as a Credit Portfolio Manager. The candidate will be part of an investment team which invests in funds run by external managers. Portfolio manager responsibilities include conducting manager selection and strategy due diligence, as well as structuring and monitoring fund investments. The candidate will specifically focus on credit strategies, investing in both corporate and asset backed credit funds as well as credit co‑investments.
The role will be based in Singapore.
You will be part of the GIC’s internal investment function where we award investment directives to external fund managers whose ability complements our own capabilities. We embrace an active investing approach for funds under external management to outperform public market benchmark indices.
