We're looking for an Associate Creative Director who lives sport and entertainment. Someone with a killer eye for design, a deep feel for culture, and the ability to turn bold ideas into experiences that fans genuinely care about.

This is a role for a creative leader in the making. One that will be required to generate, sell and rollout big ideas, managing clients & creatives along the way. You'll be mentored by senior creative leadership as you sharpen your craft, thinking and leadership on the path to creative director. While also mentoring and elevating the creatives around you.

One week you might be shaping work for FIFA, Real Madrid or Manchester United.
The next, helping brands stand out at the Australian Open, shaping the biggest esports events in the world, or collaborating with some of the biggest musical artists in the world. No two weeks are the same at Octagon. And no two people are either.

THE ROLE

As an Associate Creative Director, you'll play a key role in delivering world class creative work out of our Singapore studio.

You will:

  • Lead creative thinking across projects from concept through to execution
  • Take ownership of key projects and streams of work with confidence and clarity
  • Concept big ideas that connect brands with fans in authentic and culturally relevant ways
  • Partner closely with strategy, client services and production to bring ideas to life
  • Present work with conviction and fight for world class creativity with passionate clients
  • Maintain a high bar for craft across design, storytelling and experience
  • Proactively spot opportunities and push thinking beyond the brief
  • Mentor junior and mid-level creatives, helping them grow their skills and confidence
  • Learn from senior creative leaders through hands on mentorship and real responsibility
  • Be a strong contributor to our work hard, play hard culture and creative momentum
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Around 6 to 8 plus years experience in a creative agency or equivalent environment
  • Strong experience delivering integrated creative campaigns and experiences
  • Ability to think across brand, content, digital, social and live experiences
  • Excellent communication skills visual, verbal and written
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace
  • Experience working across APAC or global markets is a plus
  • Comfortable collaborating across time zones and disciplines
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly when the work demands it

A copywriting background or strong writing skills are beneficial but not essential.
