Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation of quotation, work reports and billing of repair works done;
  • Assisting in the preparation of works reports and bills with the owner and/or owner’s representative(s);
  • Liaise and coordinates between other departments and ensures effective communication and seamless production workflow execution;
  • Assist in the completion, delivery and handover of projects according to respective project scope specifications and standard;
  • Supporting design, engineering, project, repair and QEOHS (quality, environment, occupational health and safety) activities;
  • Safeguard Company’s assets, intellectual property and interests.
  • Document and keep records of inspections in compliance with quality procedures for internal and external audits
Requirements
  • Diploma in any Engineering discipline preferred.
  • At least 1- 2 yrs exp in the ship repairs, ship building, marine and offshore industry
  • Ability to work under tight timeline and possess positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Responds to changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Possess strong organizational, time, and project management skills, able to handle many tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills and analytical skill with an eye for details
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related computer software
