Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. We pioneer maritime robotics and autonomy solutions, provide system integration for complex naval and island air defence System-of-Systems (SoS), and take care of the operation and maintenance of Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth through proactive prospecting, relationship development, and strategic sales execution. This role requires familiarity with technology, automation, and robotics in the maritime and marine environment, as well as the broader defence and public security ecosystem.

The Sales Manager will generate new business through networking, cold outreach, and targeted engagement, while also developing persuasive value propositions tailored to client needs. This includes building rapport with new clients, setting sales targets, and supporting customers throughout the engagement to maintain long-term relationships. The role also involves growing existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services that strengthen partnership value.

Business Development & Sales Execution
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand business in the Defence and Public Security sectors, including regional and international markets.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities; manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.

Client Engagement & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

  • Understand client operational environments and challenges to recommend appropriate technology, automation, or robotics solutions.

  • Grow and retain existing accounts by introducing new solutions and value-added services.

Solutions & Proposal Management
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client requirements.

  • Lead the preparation of proposals, including RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and technical-commercial submissions.

  • Provide persuasive pitches and solution demonstrations that clearly articulate value.

Market & Industry Intelligence
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of maritime technologies, robotics/automation trends, and the defence/security landscape.

  • Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments that may influence customer needs or solution relevance.

  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and client engagements to strengthen brand presence and identify strategic partnerships.

Reporting & Forecasting
  • Oversee sales reporting, pipeline tracking, and forecasting to ensure visibility and alignment with business targets.

Qualities We Value

  • Knowledge in Engineering, Business, or equivalent discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in technical or solution-based industries.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience in the maritime industry, especially with marine systems, automation, or robotics, is advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel overseas as required

  • Open to contract, renewal
