Job summary

A company in the construction sector is seeking an Assistant Project Supervisor based in Singapore. You will assist in planning and managing various construction projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the construction industry, along with necessary safety certifications. Qualifications

• Min 3 years of working experience in construction industry or project site work.
• Possess Smo cert and class 3 Driving license will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations.

About the job Assistant Project Supervisor

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting Project coordinator to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality
• Responsible for assisting to manage and monitor site operation, workers and contractors
• Responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials and machinery on site
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting
• Have knowledge incable/pipe/electrical worksand able to correct,impart and supervise works done on site.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min 3 years of working experience in construction industry / project site work
• Possess Certificate in building construction supervisor’s safety
• Possess work at height supervisor cert
• Smo cert and class 3 Driving license will be an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience working as a Construction worker or Foreman or in construction industry as supervisor.
• Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of construction tools, machinery and equipment.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Organizational Skills.
• Can work under the sun and well with own pool of company workers, Officers and clients
• Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
• Can multitask, must help to do general work if required
• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to keep track of multiple projects
• Able to use Excel and simple apps as required for tracking & updating purposes.
