Job summary

A leading interior solutions firm located in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator. This role involves supporting stone installation projects by ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing project documentation. Candidates should have a diploma in Project/Construction Management or related fields and at least 2 years of project coordination experience, with knowledge of Singapore’s site practices being a plus. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are essential for liaising with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s workplace safety regulations and site practices is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Support stone installation projects by monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.

Project Planning & Coordination
  • Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
Site Management Support
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and report on site readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and project updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as a liaison between Operations Manager, installers, and clients.
  • Attend regular coordination meetings and resolve coordination issues promptly.
Quality & Compliance
  • Support quality checks and ensure installation meets design specifications.
  • Assist in risk management and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Project/Construction Management, Interior Design or related studies.
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or interior fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s workplace safety regulations and site practices is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Both written and spoken) to liaise with mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
