Newcastle University in Singapore has been delivering high quality degrees in Singapore since 2009 and have graduated more than 4,000 students at UG, PGT and PGR level. We deliver jointly awarded undergraduate Newcastle University degrees with the Singapore Institute of Technology in electrical power engineering, naval architecture and marine engineering, and mechanical design and manufacturing engineering.

The successful candidate must be able to provide evidence of a commitment to high quality educational provision and strong student experience, and it is expected that successful candidates would have an emerging publication record with potential for peer reviewed publications at international level in high quality peer reviewed journals and conferences. It is expected that the candidate’s expertise and interests will fit within the existing Singapore campuses scope of activity and will bring strong complementary expertise to the existing research teams. It is expected that the candidate will demonstrate the capacity to successfully supervise research projects. There is also a requirement to serve on campus, faculty and university committees, and to perform administrative duties as required by the Provost and CEO Singapore campus.
