A construction recruitment agency is looking for a candidate in Singapore for a role that requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience specializing in Mechanical within the construction industry. Responsibilities include managing suppliers, creating work schedules, and ensuring quality on-site. The position offers a competitive salary of up to $7,000 plus bonuses and allowances.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 5 years of working experience specializing in Mechanical under Construction industry.
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9000, 45001, 14001.
• Possess ISO Internal Quality Auditor and Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.

Responsibilities

• Solve on-site problems and coordinate effectively with all parties.
• Apply engineering expertise, including design knowledge and building codes.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality materials and work.
• Create shop drawings, work schedules, and attend project meetings.
• Monitor site progress and communicate clearly to avoid delays.
• Control materials and coordinate with contractors to prevent waste and rework.
• Inspect work and materials to identify and correct defects.
• Support the Manager with daily planning, quality, and safety.
• Explore new technologies and methods to improve productivity.

• Havelock / Outram
• UP $7,000 Basic + VB + Allowances
• Office located right beside MRT!
