Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with industry experts to design and implement projects aimed at improving patient safety and quality.
• Educate and empower staff on improvement methodologies and tools for effective project execution.
• Facilitate the establishment of partnerships and networks to identify and mitigate potential patient safety risks.
• Guide project teams in assessing current processes, setting goals, and determining measurable indicators for improvement.
• Develop and conduct educational training programs, with a focus on sharing best practices through publications.
• Oversee the management of the improvement portal to encourage project registration and select ideas that drive enhancement initiatives.
• Write proposals related to patient safety and quality for funding applications and perform literature reviews for relevant insights.
• Conduct environmental scanning and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends in patient safety and quality.

Requirements

• Relevant Postgraduate Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of applicable experience.
• Proven experience in managing patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Strong skills in quality/process improvement and project management, alongside analytical and organizational abilities.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in data management and statistical analysis.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in healthcare settings.
