A Government Ministry in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager to conduct research and analysis on public opinion trends to inform policy and enhance communications. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and strong analytical skills, alongside knowledge of statistics and research methods. This role involves collaboration with agencies and requires excellent communication and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
You will be part of a team that undertakes in-depth research and analysis work on public opinion trends in Singapore, to inform government policy and improve government communications on key socio‑economic issues such as employment, cost of living, retirement adequacy and broader concerns affecting citizens and businesses. As Assistant Manager/ Manager/ Senior Manager, you will be required to develop partnerships with key agencies, identify policy and communications gaps, and design evidence‑based, data‑driven research approaches to inform relevant stakeholders on suitable interventions.
To succeed in this role, you will need a broad understanding of Government’s policies and be able to engage stakeholders across Whole‑of‑Government. You will also need to have an objective and evaluative mind to provide rational perspectives on public policy issues and effectively tap into a range of research tools.
