The Assistant Manager (Compliance, Safety & Data Governance) supports the College’s governance framework in line with NTU’s Safety & Health Management System (SHMS), Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, and Data Governance Policy (DGP). The role ensures effective coordination of compliance activities, documentation, and audits across college units, contributing to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance & Compliance: Coordinate safety, health, and data governance initiatives, maintain compliance documentation, and manage audits.

  • Safety & Health: Implement NTU SHMS, coordinate safety committees, track training, and manage inspections.

  • Data Governance & PDPA: Oversee data classification, access, retention, and disposal; support audits and policy adherence.

  • Documentation & Audit Readiness: Maintain audit‑ready compliance records, track corrective actions, and support management reporting.

  • Strategic & Administrative Support: Assist senior management and committees; prepare reports, coordinate initiatives, and support college events including convocation ceremonies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Awareness: Coordinate communications, workshops, and compliance campaigns.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in executive support, compliance, or project management; higher education experience preferred.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks, WSH, PDPA, and data governance.
  • Strong administrative, documentation, and audit coordination skills.
  • Meticulous, proactive, ethical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to prepare reports and briefings.
  • Familiarity with OHS regulations, DGP/PDPA compliance, risk management, and audit standards.
  • Experience in maintaining compliance records and ensuring audit readiness, and coordinating large‑scale events such as convocation ceremonies.
