Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Singapore seeks a technician responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Facility Systems, ensuring operational health. Candidates should have a diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years of managerial experience. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are required, along with knowledge of Excel and Word. The role may require travel to customer facilities on short notice.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience managing operations matters.
  • Class 3 driving license preferred.
  • Data Centre experience is an advantage.

Description
  • Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting for all Facility Systems to ensure its operational health 24x7.
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers as needed.
  • Train and monitor contractors providing Systems servicing. Provide escort for Equipment vendor personnel at Customer’s Facility when needed.
  • Troubleshoot, repair/replace jobs on malfunctioning equipment, systems, and facilities when needed.
  • Conform to documented procedures and standards per ISO requirements.
  • Provide coaching to train the team members for shutdown exercise.
  • This role may require being able to travel to customers’ facilities on short notice, including after office hours.
  • Data Centre experience is an advantage.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments or tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical services.
  • At least 3 years of managing operations matters.
  • Good leadership & Supervisory skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and word.
  • Class 3 Driving License preferred.
  • Candidates with short notice period preferred.
