A government agency in Singapore is seeking a supervisor for the Strategic Analysis team to assess employment regulatory risks and conduct comprehensive research. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in public service and a degree in relevant fields. Responsibilities include ensuring the relevance of research projects, supervising analysts, and monitoring project timelines. Strong skills in research methodologies and analytical tools are essential, as well as excellent critical thinking and report writing capabilities.
In this role, you will supervise the Strategic Analysis team to provide comprehensive intelligence assessment on emerging employment regulatory risks and systemic Work Pass abuses for MOM to take timely intervention measures to ensure that employment policies and regulatory levers remain relevant and effective.
Ensure research projects are relevant addressing the current or emerging concerns of MOM. In addition, you will supervise analysts on the correct application of research methodologies and ensure that analysis is robust based on accurate and comprehensive data or facts.
Balance multiple projects and competing demands, prioritise projects and monitor the pace of research to assess if any intervention is needed. You will also discuss with the team to review scope of research, timeline or need for additional support.
