Job summary

A specialized security consultancy in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to advise Security Agencies on submissions and conduct assessments. Qualifications

• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• May require a valid Private Investigator licence.
• Minimum 2 years of audit and/or assessment experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Scope:

• Advise Security Agencies (SAs) on submission requirements and assessment procedures.
• Conduct assessments of SAs based on prescribed criteria, including document, main office, and deployment site assessments. Assessment activities may include:
  • Interviewing staff and Security Officers;
  • Reviewing key processes end-to-end;
  • Conducting security-related exercises and evaluating responses;
  • Assessing documentary or other evidence provided by SAs.
• Prepare assessment reports detailing observations, assessment outcomes (pass/fail), and recommendations for new or renewal licenses.
• Review representations submitted by SAs, prepare reports, and draft responses.
• Perform other duties related to assessment as directed.
• Adhere to all rules communicated by the Contractor, Supervisor, and/or Authority.

Requirements:

General Requirements:

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• May need a valid Private Investigator licence.
• Must demonstrate: confidentiality, strong English communication skills, analytical and observational skills, report writing, organizational and project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, computer literacy, ability to work under pressure, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Advanced Certification in Learning and Performance (ACLP), Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA), or equivalent.
• Certification in Red Teaming Course.
• Preferably:
  • Minimum 2 years of audit and/or assessment experience;
  • Minimum 2 years of law enforcement experience;
  • Experience as a member of Singapore Police Force or any law enforcement agency.

Security-Related Restrictions:

• No Security Officer licence for at least 1 year prior to and during the contract.
• No past or present business connection or vested interests with any SA for at least 2 years prior to and during the contract.
