Wilhelmsen Ship Services is looking for an Area Port Service Engineer (PSE) Manager
The Area Port Service Engineer (PSE) Manager reports to Global PSE Director –works closely together with the rest of the team to promote Wilhelmsen Ships Service.
Responsible for the daily operation of PSE`s in the area
Overall responsible for the structure and operational setup of the area PSE function in accordance with global strategy and function
At all times ensure an optimal organisational setup that proactively supports the responsibilities of the PSE function in agreement with Global PSE Director
Ensure that the personnel are trained and have the necessary skills to meet daily responsibilities and tasks
Responsible that the area PSE`s are compliant towards applicable processes and operational tools
Manage the recruitment needs and efforts for PSE staffing / resource
Be a role model by having a ‘can do’ forward leaning approach to strategy development, growth activities, and cross-functional collaboration
Support developing products, services, and digital solutions in cooperation with wider Product teams and the Global PSE Director
Follow up on global sales strategies, policies, campaigns, and initiatives
Initiates and ensures efficient implementation of local, regional and global initiatives in close cooperation with the sales and operations functions
Implement Key Performance Indicators and Budget for area PSE`s, and report according to agreed instructions for the area
Ensure that the team proactively works to solve problems and that they involve and cooperate effectively with other teams

PSE capacity and utilization
Growth according to target
Attrition of key employees
Bachelor's degree or equivalent – formal education in engineering, technical studies and / or business administration
5+ years of managerial experience from maritime industry, preferably with P&L responsibility and service operations experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment
Fluent English - both writing and speaking
Able to work independently, systematically and meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities approach
Willingness to travel
Ability to change and drive change
Self-driven, outgoing, ambitious, and full of initiative
Proven team player and receptive to new ideas
Excellent management and leadership skills and a proactive, decisive, and result-oriented
