Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee site work in residential building projects. Responsibilities include coordinating structural and architectural works, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Applicants should possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Familiarity with BCA standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in residential building projects.
• Familiar with BCA CONQUAS and Quality Marks assessment.
• Knowledge of safety aspects in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager/Site Manager for site work arrangements.
• Coordinate and oversee all Structural / Architectural works on site.
• Monitor works with subcontractors and manage site issues.
• Coordinate inspection works by Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works.
• Responsible for planning, programming and monitoring work progress.
• Liaise with client’s representatives and relevant authorities.
• Ensure site safety and enforce safe work procedures.

• Monitor and coordinate the works with subcontractors and handling suppliers and sub-contractors problem on site
• Coordinate the inspection works by Resident Engineer and Clerk of works
• Responsible for planning, programming and monitoring of work progress on site
• Liaison with client’s representative, relevant authorities and consultants for the execution of work
• Ensure site safety and carry out safe work procedures to control risk
