Qualifications

• Relevant diploma or degree in interior design, ideally within the retail or residential furniture sector.
• Ability to conceptualize, draw, detail, and create presentation drawings.
• Proficiency in 3D Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Photoshop is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand space requirements, aesthetic preferences, budget constraints, and project timelines.
• Produce design deliverables including floor plans, elevations, 3D perspectives/renderings and specifications.
• Prepare complete design proposals (mood boards, materials, finishes, and product selections).
• Develop compelling and functional design solutions, focusing on effective space planning and furniture arrangement.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers on materials, finishes, shop drawings, lead times and installation details.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship quality and alignment with approved drawings.
• Resolve site issues, provide drawing clarifications, and support RFIs/coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and functional requirements.
