Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to supervise site activities and ensure quality and safety during project execution. The ideal candidate must possess a diploma in architecture or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to coordinate multiple projects effectively are required. Excellent communication skills are a must for liaising with various stakeholders.

Architectural Coordinator
  • Supervise and coordinate architectural site activities across projects for both companies.
  • Manage daily manpower allocation, ensuring work is executed according to construction/shop drawings.
  • Monitor project progress, attend meetings, and liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Assist Project Managers in preparing and submitting shop drawings and method statements.
  • Ensure timely preparation of progress reports, inspection records, handover documents, defects lists, and variation order documentation.
  • Record and manage all defects and ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
  • Coordinate architectural works with consultants, subcontractors, C&S, and M&E coordinators to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed within timelines with excellent finishes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve site problems in collaboration with project teams.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) measures on site.
  • Enforce construction safety regulations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Attend safety meetings and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or relevant qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or Construction‑related field.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in interior fit‑out or construction projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects independently under tight schedules.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting architectural and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Relevant safety certifications such as BCSS.
  • Experience in assisting Project Managers with supervision of architectural works on site.
  • Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated, meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently while fostering teamwork.
